He is professor and head of the guitar department at Texas University in Dallas. His concert activity covers the five continents.
His most recent journeys have been to Asia and Australia. He is the first US guitarist who has been invited to give a concert and a masterly class at the Hanoi musical Conservatoire, in Vietnam.
In Europe, he attends as a Jury member to important guitar international event, every year. His experience in concert tours cover both Americas and Europe where he has been to Germany, Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Spain, Greece, Italy and Switzerland.
In 2006 he was a Jury member and a player at the Spanish Festivals: "Castillo de Peñiscola", in Castellon, "Jose-Tomas" Ciudad de Velez, Malaga and "Miguel Llobet " in Barcelona. In August 2006, Enric returned to Ecuador to play as a soloist and in a Chamber Orchestra.
One of his most noticeable merits was winning the Ramirez Prize at the Compostela Masterly Music Classes Competition. In 2007 he participated again as a jury member and a player in Mexico, at Morelia's Festival.
His recordings are in: Encore Gold, Documentary Arts and CRI. Finally, he is an advisory of the Classical Guitar Society and at Eastfield College Festival and a high-level competition founder, in Dallas.
