Regina Majtánová ( born in 1975 ), come from Slovakia. She began to play the piano when she was 4 years old. Studied at the Conservatoire in Žilina and graduated her academic studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava in the specialization – piano and chamber music. She succesfully participated in many national and international competitions and festivals (France, Germany, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic ). Took the masterclases with many excelent pianist as Lazar Bermann, Eugen Indjic, Pavel Gililov, Peter Toperzer, Marián Lapšanský, Ida Černecká. Since 1996 she has continously been cooperating with the State Chamber Orchestra of Žilina ( Slovak Sinfonietta ). Also gave the concerts with the Torun Chamber Orchestra ( Poland ), the Kysuca Chamber Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatoire in Žilina.  She has been a member of the various chamber group ( Archi di Slovakia, Piano trio of Slovak Sinfonietta Žilina, Ladieschambertrio, duet with Austrian violinist Gernot Winischhofer... ) and cooperated with many excelent young generation artists within her country. During the years 1999 – 2011 she worked at the Conservatoire in Žilina ( Slovakia ) as a piano teacher and piano accompanist. Many times she was invited to the Chairman of the jury at the Piano competition of young talents in Kysucké Nové Mesto or as a member of the jury at the Piano competition of M. SCH. Trnavský in Trnava.

Since 2011 has been living in Spain and working as a piano teacher at the Centro superior de Enseñanza Musical Katarina Gurská in Madrid.
